Dye Combo Question
eh, maybe a dumb question but i'm not experienced with mixing several dyes to achieve one color (most i've done is 2 or 3) so i wanted to check with those of you who were.
i saw an awesome color today and was given the combo.......gold + gold + gold + black. i was told you can get a nice gold color by mixing silver and yellow but how would you go about putting 3 yellows, 3 silvers and 1 black on a piece of armor since there's only 4 slots for the dye? any help with this would be appreciated. thx. |

Use the dye preview window to play around with different combos.

You can only use 4 dyes in a combo now. Prior to the update with the preview window you mixed dyes seperately and could use more, but you can't do that now.

Before the current dye preview system you could mix dyes by clicking on one dye and then clicking on another. When the preview system was introduced, dyes already mixed like that were left alone, so someone with such dyes can add more then four dyes onto a single item.
However, there are few of those dyes around and would probably be expensive anyway. So as far as you should be concerned, its not possible and the guy that gave you the combo is likely messing with you. |
